Big announcements made by Finance Minister in Covid - 19 relief package

We all know that recently government of India imposed lock down in our country due to the spread of corona virus disease rapidly so to stop the further increase in cases . So all people from different sectors facing problems due to this lock down , so Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman announce a relief package .

Finance Minister announce relief package on Thursday worth 1.70 Lakh crore for various sector.

Key points related to this announcement are following:-

For Farmer :  2000 rupees will directly transfer to 8.69 crore farmer in their account who are benefited with pmkisan samman nidhi yojna this installment will be transferred in the first week of April

For women : Women who have jan dhan account a support of 500 will be given to all of them for 3 months , so these women will be able to run their households in this pandemic situation . 

But only 500 are sufficient to run home for 1 month or what about men if women in their home have not any jan dhan account but they are also below poverty line ?

For MGNREGA Workers :  Government increases wages of MGNREGA workers by 2000 rupees by today . 

For widows , divyang , pension holder : 1000 rupees given by government to all pension holders which will be directly transfer through DBT in two installments .

Ujwala scheme holders : Those families which are benefited through ujwala scheme will get three cylinders free for 3 months about 8.3 crore families will get benefited .

For women Self Help Group : There are about 63 lakh SHG which benefit 7 crore families so today finance minister announce doubling the collateral free loan(from rupees 10 lakh to 20 lakh).

For organised sector worker : Government now will EPF of both employer and employee for next three months which is 12% .This will benefit about 4.8 crore worker .

For construction worker : Central government will direct the state government to utilize 31,000 crore in that fund to protect this worker from economic disruption . This will benefit about 3.5 worker .
