As we now observing that China now becoming a hub of Virus , we are now facing a pandemic already CoronaVirus. In past years SARS in 2002 ,Asian flu in 1956 , and H7N9 ten years later killed 1223 people. Recently we heard about Hanta virus but they are not much serious as covid-19. But according to reports of The Global Times this new virus Novel Bunya Virus is much dangerous as we are facing because it spreading through human to human.
New virus caused 37 people contracted in East china's Jiangsu Province and 7 deaths according China claims but we know if they are showing data then this is not real may be the figures of cases are more.Later 23 people were found to have been infected in East China's Anhui province, state run Global times quoted media reports. Bunya Virus discovered 50 years ago but now its new Bunya Virus belonging to old viruses family.
SFTS
Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome(SFTS).
A woman from Nanjing capital of Jiangsu who suffered from the virus showed onset of symptoms such as fever , coughing . Doctors found a decline of leukocyte , blood platelet inside of her body. After a month of treatment she was discharged from the hospital.
At least seven people have died in Anhui and East China Zhejiang province due to the virus , the report said.
Ticks-Borne STFS Virus
Ticks are external parasites , living by feeding on the blood of mammals birds and sometime reptiles and amphibians.Ticks are small insects that bite humans and can often transmit disease.Most of these insects found in Eastern part of China.
Most dangerous thing about this virus is that it has high fatality rate of 12% and as high as 30% in some areas and it is most dangerous for people more 50 years old or above. The major clinical symptoms of STFS are vomiting,fever,diarrhea,multiple organ failure , thromobocytopenia , leukopenia and elevated liver enzyme levels.
Why is the SFTS virus a matter of concern?
Various study shows that Novel Bunya Virus have more chance human to human transmission and it caused by biting of insect Ticks. It has high fatality rate specially for old age people and it was detected 50 years ago but there is no vaccine of this virus. But one positive thing about this is that it cannot be spread across the world because all international travelling is stricted as we are already facing a pandemic otherwise it would get spread in all over world from east asia,
