The logic is complete wrong , about banning chinese product India saw more than 4 decades of import substitution between 1947 to 1991 when import is completely discouraged and Indian manufacturers encouraged to produce Indian market. But the result is in front of us that we are still using chinese product blindly.
The solution is simple , if Indian people buy Indian product rather than chinese product than companies automatically stop their services here. Atamanirbhar is nothing just import substitution with new name.

In 2014 , investment by Chinese companies is RS 12,000 crore which is now about 5 times from that RS 60,000 crore. Bilateral trade between India and china is worth 6 lakh crore, out of which India's export share is 1.17 lakh crore while we import good services worth 4.9 lakh crore from China. According proved details a chinese mobile company invests about 3500 crore in india via subsidiary company in singapore . China has been invested a huge money in Indian startups from last two years.
In 2019, Chinese investment in the Indian Start ups has risen 94 percent. In 2018, China invested Rs 15,000 crores in India which rose to 29,000 crore in 2019. Out of the 30 big start ups in India , almost 18 start ups in India have got Chinese investment. OLA,Hike,Big Basket,Dream 11 ,Oyo, Paytm, Snapdeal and Zomato are some of the big and renowned companies where chinese inverstors have invested upto Rs 4,000 crores. So here is a short analysis that much deep chinese companies are growing in Inidia.
Is India in the position to complete boycott to Chinese product?
India imports mainly toys,fertilizers,mobile phones,milk product,antibiotics , computers parts and cars and motorcycles parts etc.
Indian products exported to China are Agricultural products,cotton textile , handicraft products,iron,steel ,copper and mainly India exports its 36% of diamond to china.
Why China's product are so cheap?
There are the following reasons why chinese products are so cheap as compare to other products.
- The cost of production in China is low due to availability of cheap labour.
- The manufacturing sector in China gets a subsidy from government which reduces the costs of products further.
- Chines manufacturers produces a large quantity of products which reduces the cost of product per unit.
Now the main question is here can Indian government prevent import from china?
SO the answer is no , because according to World Trade Organisation any country can not impose a full trading ban on any country even if there are no diplomatic , regional,and trade relation with that country. But Indian government can ban some chinese products on health and security risks.
Yes according to me we should also take part in this trend boycotting chinese product . According to all this if we starting giving preference to Indian product so it will give a chance to Indian companies despite on taking the products on the basis of price we should buy product on the basis of reliability , if we support our Indian companies and which further increase employment within in India but ,what we are doing now waiting for foreign companies to invest and give us employment. Hence we can saw that all mobile parts manufacture in china and only assemble in India which cost less price and less employment and we named it MADE IN INDIA .Interestingly , other than wanting the country self reliant , government wants Indian manufacturers to be a part global supply chains of Big companies . So support Indian product and actually make this MADE IN INDIA , MAKE IN INDIA succesful.
