As we today see that Indian Government had been taken a major decision of banning Chinese apps in India for there have many security issues. The Indian government banned Chinese Application including top social media platforms such as TikTok , Helo and Wechat in order to counter the security posed by these applications. ShareIT, UC browser and shopping app Clubfactory are among the other prominent apps which have been banned. The government has argued that the applications are engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of India. This could come as a major blow to China's Digital Silk Route ambitious , eroding millions of dollars from valuations of its companies following India's path in acting against these Apps . A top level study shows that the government has considering all the aspects before taking the decisions. These apps have been there for a long time and there are some privacy and security issues with them including risks of data losing and going out of the country. Government said that it has received many complaints from various sources including several reports including several reports about misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and ios platform for stealing data and transmitting data to the server locating outside of India.The compilation of these data , its mining and profiling by elements hostile to national security and defence of India , which requires a emergency measures said by government.
